Sylvia opened the meeting by saying that she had sort the views of several businesses with regards to the proposals of the Developer and got various comments, she has also joined the business committee of the Development Trust along with John Cook they still have to have a meeting.

The accounts for the year ended 31st January 2006 have been checked by accountants, Thomas Westcott.

The Meeting commenced at the TIC where Miss Chipperfield gave an informative talk on the scope and plans for the TIC.

It was confirmed that the name Seaton Chamber of Commerce be changed to Seaton Commerce this was approved by all. It was also agreed that the existing Chamber Constitution be adopted as the new constitution for Seaton Commerce.....

Due to the recent comments made in the press and by members of the public the committee have released the the accounts in the form of a cash book.
