As we all know the internet is 'open' 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, even on Christmas Day.
Why then do government departments feel the need for their online services to keep office hours?
I tried to file a company
return through the new online filing service at Companies House only to find that their website is closed on sundays, Why?
Is this some new EU directive that requires computers to have one day off a week?
Next thing we know the whole of .gov.uk will go on paternity leave when Microsoft releases a new version of Windows!!!
