Sylvia opened the meeting by saying that she had sort the views of several businesses with regards to the proposals of the Developer and got various comments, she has also joined the business committee of the Development Trust along with John Cook they still have to have a meeting.
Minutes Meeting Monday 20th November 2006
Held at The Byrne-Jones residence.
In Attendance - Chairman Sylvia Webber, Vice- Chair Chris Byrne – Jones, Secretary Colin Donelan, Treasurer Andrew Real, Mike Griffiths, Joan Fuller, Peter Thomas.
Sylvia opened the meeting by saying that she had sort the views of several businesses with regards to the proposals of the Developer and got various comments, she has also joined the business committee of the Development Trust along with John Cook they still have to have a meeting.
It seems that the town Christmas lights decorations this year will be two Christmas trees one at Windsor Gardens and the other in the square.
Andrew stated that Torbay lighting was still owed some money but he was awaiting a copy invoice from them in order to find out the correct amount.
Thanks were given to Joan for her stalwart efforts to raise money over the years for Seaton Lights.
It was agreed, Sylvia to contact the Devon District auditor with regards a meeting.
Andrew is going to update the Web Site in order that the Seaton Businesses can post their views once the news letter has been distributed.
It was agreed that membership stays at £25.00 per annum (See News letter regarding membership of the Gym and pool at Holiday Village)
It was agreed that we would contact Mrs Rogers with regards to the completion of the cycle route as this had dragged on far to long Sylvia remarked that the route at Barnstable was used by so many people that to complete the route would bring a great number of people to Seaton.
