Seaton Town Council wants to fence off part of the playing field at Scalwell Lane for people to walk thier dogs on.



Councilor Farlow made the suggestion after hearing from mothers attending Ruperts Under 5's Playgroup.

The playing field is currently dual purpose for dogs and children which is a crazy suituation, but should we really lose part of the very little space left for Seatons children and young adults?

Before councillors make that descision, perhaps they should go down to the playing fields between 6 and 7 in the evening on a term time Monday where they will find upto 70 to 80 children happily getting some exercise and having fun football training.
